Ghyanka Ghar a.k.a. Rammed-earth House @ Jhong, Mustang

Mustang has its building culture rooted to earthen construction technology, with use of traditional rammed earth (ghyanka) construction and sun-dried mud blocks (pop). Nyima Gurung is local resident from Jhong and has been involved in continuation of this building culture through production of compressed earth blocks, which has gained momentum recently. Now he has his house built in rammed earth and CSEB for internal partition walls. Check the building, almost completed.
